Zeiss ZM 21mm f/2.8 Biogon T*

The Zeiss ZM 35mm f/2.8 C-Biogon (about $817) is a very compact 35mm lens, an alternative to the 35mm f/2 Biogon. It offers outstanding value without compromising performance.

Image quality

Not yet tested.

MTF charts suggest that this lens offers excellent performance even wide open, with minimal field curvature and outstanding contrast and sharpness by f/5.6.

Distortion

The pincushion distortion of the 35mm f/2.8 Biogon is only about 1% by the far corners, excellent for a 28mm lens.
