Multi-core CPU usage of DXO Optics PRo
I previously commented and wrote about the CPU usage of multi-core systems. I’m pleased to report that DXO Optics Pro 5.2 makes full use of all four cores of my 3GHz Mac Pro. Thanks to reader James N for pointing this out. I haven’t yet evaluated the many features of DXO Optics Pro so I can’t yet speak to image quality (though several readers have written to say they’re pleased with it), and at least multi-core users will see their hardware investments fully utilized.
