New Apple MacBook Pro 2.3GHz 4-core Is a Major Advance for Photographers
Photographers using a laptop should take a good look at my review of the 2011 Apple MacBook pro 2.3Ghz quad-core, because it delivers a major leap forward in performance, unprecedented in the MacBook Pro line.
For example, consider Adobe Lightroom 3.2; the year-old 2010 model takes 60% longer to import the same files. Other programs show even more improvement. Quite amazing really; it is rare to see this large a performance gain year to year. In fact, the new MacBook Pro is squarely into Mac Pro territory.
