Sony RX100

In addition, I’ll be shooting the new Sony RX100 (I’m skeptical, but so much positive hype I suppose I have to see it for myself). Not necessarily an in depth review, but I want to know if the ergonomics actually do work for something I am interested in, though the zoom facility is a yawner for me (f/4.9 on a tiny sensor is just plain silly for one thing, but I suppose one can ignore the silly excessive zoom range).

Also coming thanks to B&H Photo are the new Canon 24mm f/2.8 IS and 28mm f/2.8 IS lenses. With prices at about $800, these two new primes are not inexpensive, so one naturally wonders if some optical secret sauce warrants the price.
