Leica 24mm f/3.8 Elmar-M ASPH

At about $2595, the Leica 24mm f/3.8 Elmar-M ASPH offers perhaps the best technical performance of any of the Leica wide angle lenses, at least from what one might read from its MTF chart.

But actual results on a digital sensor can vary in meaningful ways due to sensor ray angle.

The series is on the Leica M9. Behavior on the Leica M Typ 240 could vary due to different sensor design, so that is a future planned test.
