Really Right Stuff Plate / L-Bracket for Sony A7R / A7

I’m hoping to get my hands on one of these soon— a Really Right Stuff plate on my camera is essential to my efficient work and over the years and through dozens of cameras and RRS plates, I have not been disappointed.

Really Right Stuff camera plates for Sony A7R / A7. Available with or without the optional “L” end (the L end makes it fast to position the camera vertically).

Really Right Stuff Versa 4 tripods

I’m also hoping to soon try the new Really Right Stuff Versa 4 tripods (TVC 43/44/45 models), which are their sturdiest model yet. In the field, I use the TVC-24L and TVC-34L (heavier preferred, but that depends on hiking distance!). In the field, a tripod that can do 7 feet tall or more is essential to some steep slopes, so I have my eye on the Versa TVC-45, which goes to 85 in / 216 cm tall. The TVC-44 model goes to 75 in / 190 cm and is good for most situations, but I like that extra height.

Joe Johnson of RRS stuff says “The 4 series tripods are SIGNIFICANTLY stiffer than the 3 (or 2 series) tripods and should perform better under any given condition — the draw-back being weight and cost”.
