Leica M240
Zeiss ZM 35mm f/1.4 Distagon

Examples: Quaking Aspen Variety (M240)

Shot on the 24-megapixel Leica M Typ 240. No camera lens correction / lens coding.

The examples here are intended to yield a sense of the rendering style under various types of lighting and focus distance. Most examples at f/1.4 unless otherwise noted.

Comments are kept to a minimum for these examples; the idea is to view and to get a sense of the rendering style..

Because the M240 is limited to 1/4000 second, a polarizer was kept on the lens in some venues as a ~1.5 stop ND filter, hence some of the images used a polarizer (and some did not).
