This example shows the performance of the Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4. It avoids most all of the artifacting issues seen with the X-E1 sensor.
Processed with Adobe Camera Raw 7.2 (46), Dec 2012, 1/3 stop pull, sharpening with Amount=60.
Additional sharpening with Topaz InFocus radius 0.20 (see How to Downsample and Sharpen an Image in DAP). The 2nd-pass sharpening was deemed appropriate for satisfactory micro contrast.
