Fujifilm X-E1 Behaviors That Kill Images
Back in mid-June 2013, I ordered the entire Fujifilm X-E1 kit with all the available lenses, figuring that having the entire lens kit and body I could work with it and provide useful coverage.
The camera exhibited several image-destroying behaviors during field work.
1. Focus reset
The camera resets the lens focus to ~3 feet or so after certain operations, even if the lens has been focused manually and the focusing setting is manual focus. The change is so severe that it results in a complete blur.
Let me say that again: when set to manual focus, the camera resets the focus with common operations like play or delete.
