Overview
The 12.3-megapixel Olympus PEN E-P1 is one of the first of what promises to be an exciting crop of the “micro 4/3” format cameras.
I say “exciting” because the micro-4/3 format offers the potential of far higher image quality than today’s point-and-shoot cameras, but with a camera size which is not too much larger. Or at least in theory, but reality intrudes, as we shall see.
