Resolution

Sample image
The sample image was chosen because it contains an extraordinary amount of artificial and fine “fractal” detail to really dig out what issues might be present. The lighting here was 14:00 slightly hazy sunlight, about as poor as it gets—perfect for this test.
The entire image is at infinity focus, avoiding any depth of field issues. There was some slight atmospheric haze which reduced the scene contrast, but this is realistic for many shooting scenarios.
