Sigma DP-1 Merrill

Color Space Bug — sRGB Only

The Sigma DP1 Merrill offers a Color Space choice of sRGB or AdobeRGB, but this appears to be a “happy button” only—

The DP1 Merrill JPEGs are ALWAYS tagged as sRGB; the color space setting is ignored.

To be specific, the camera always tags JPEGs as sRGB. Whether they are mis-tagged (and really AdobeRGB) is a possibility; the question is whether there are two bugs or one bugs, but there are certainly not zero bugs involved here.
