A7s Moire (vs A7R)
The Sony A7s generates significant moiré on finely detailed subject such as fabrics and fine lines, as shown on this page.
Some examples also show the Sony A7R, which is shown at actual pixels, because downsampling to match the A7s can generate its own moiré issues.
Fabric
For the Sony A7s, the fabric in the center of the doll’s chest (dark blue) exhibits wide horizontal streaks with an orange cast (color moiré). For the Sony A7R, the white handkerchief has orange diagonal streaks, also color moiré.
