Sony A7R II
Sony / Zeiss FE 50mm f/1.4 ZA

Field Examples: Hall Natural Area, Dusk (Sony A7R II)

These examples shot in the field in the Eastern Sierra, near Yosemite National Park.

An f/1.4 lens plus image stabilization extends the range of shooting hours significantly: all images on this page were shot handheld very late in the day with Sony IBIS (SteadyShot) enabled.

Viewing: shot at dusk, these images are reproduced appropriately for those conditions; viewing in a darkened room is recommended for proper contrast perception (also, click each image to view in separate windows, because a white surround throws off perception).

Adobe Camera Raw 9.6.1 (631). Chromatic aberration is corrected via an embedded profile for both lenses, as enforced without recourse by ACR.
