Aperture Series: Yellow Bike at Night
This night-time scene evaluates the juxtaposition of sharpness and bokeh using a mid-range and close-range example.
The Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM offers a lovely drawing style. It may well deserve the title of “king of bokeh” in the 85mm realm, particularly for those who favor moderate micro contrast at f/1.4.

Adobe Camera Raw 9.5 (585). View ACR Settings. Camera Profile = Adobe Standard. All Lens Comp adjustments disabled in the camera, but chromatic aberration is corrected via an embedded profile, enforced without recourse by ACR.
As noted in the mosaic series, f/1.4 was cheated by 1/3 stop exposure (f/1.4 @ 3.2 sec vs f/2 @ 8.0 sec), Something odd is going on, perhaps something like Canon silent T-stop compensation so perhaps Sony is playing the same game.
