Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 IS USM

Aperture Series: Tioga Lake and Mt Dana

Made with the 22-megapixel Canon 5D Mark III at ISO 100.

This scene was chosen and composed for its near to far depth (“3D”), which yields insight into performance as often required for landscape shooting.

Lens contrast is excellent, but the lighting is harsh. This image would do well in black and white but is shown in color in order to reveal nuances of color aberrations.
