With sharpening off (0), the image lacks a little snap, but its inherent detail is still apparent, much stronger detail than one sees without sharpening with cameras like the Sony A900; this is almost certainly due to the lack of an anti-aliasing (blur) filter in the Leave Aptus-II 6 back.
