The August 2008 Nikon 85mm f/2.8D PC-E Micro-Nikkor is a tilt and shift lens capable macro lens offering 8.5° of tilt/swing and 11.5mm of rise/fall (shift). The “E” version is a newer incarnation over the older non-E version; its main feature improvement is the Nano Crystal Coat.
As with its 45/2.8 and 24/3.5 siblings, the 85/2.8 PCE does not allow an on-the-fly choice of the tilt mechanism versus the shift mechanism. The lens is thus restricted to
