Rubber feet
I found that the rubber feet were highly effective both on granite as well as on soft and loose material and sand and mound, more so than the feet I’ve used for years on my Gitzo tripods.
The large surface area provided by the rubber feet is superior to the narrow feet on my Gitzo, which tend to sink into mud and similar.
