Focus as accurately as feasible

Mis-focus breaks the effect by placing emphasis on the wrong portion of the subject and/or blurring the desired subject. See the previous Challenges page.

Vignetting is your gradient filter

Vignetting is a tool: it can darken bright areas at the corners and edges by as much as 3.5 stops. See the Vignetting page.
