ETTR Example 2+ Stops Range (Dolls, Olympus E-M5)

The previous RAW vs JPEG exposure discussion is now extended to show how digital sensor noise is influenced by exposure (see Exposure and Noise for technical details).

JPEG does not concern us here; it is a severely compromised choice. It is the increased quality that well exposed RAW provides that is the focus of this page, noting also that these exposures were at the base ISO of 200 for the Olympus OM-D E-M5.
