Leica M24o (M Type 240)

Usability: Miscellaneous

Firmware version 2.0.0.11.

Behavior when turning on

The camera will not operate until it is ready: about a 2.5 second delay after turning on. An absurdity, especially for a Leica.

There is a 2.5 second delay from the time the camera is turned on to when the LCD lights up: after ~2.5 seconds the shutter opens, the LCD lights up and the camera will finally (!) take a picture. Setting Light Metering Mode = Classic instead of Light Metering Mode = Advanced still incurs the delay; the only difference being that the shutter does not open and the LCD does not light up, but the delay remains.
