Leica M9P

Ergonomics and Usability

Physical aspects

Wonderful!

I enjoy carrying the M9 much more than carrying the huge Nikon D3x, or even the smaller Canon 5D Mark II or Nikon D800. What a relief! Except that my work demands that I carry several cameras, but when I can, I reach for the M9 simply because of its form factor and superb lens quality.

Carrying the M9 with a lens mounted, and a few other lenses in a hip pack is a completely different experience than a DSLR! I would have no hesitation in taking the M9 at times where a DSLR would just be a hassle. It is a perfect travel camera, and it does not draw attention to itself as does a huge pro DSLR.
