Voigtlander 35mm f/1.2

Voigtlander Nokton 35/1.2 II Examples (Night)

In viewing the images, particularly the crops, keep in mind the very shallow depth of field, as well as the low shutter speeds involved. Also, the higher ISO images degrade the fine detail (noise).

One should take in the whole image first, studying its overall effect: contrast, color, overall impressions— then move into the crops and finer points. It is the first impression that counts the most: visual impact.

Unless noted, these images are not processed except for white balance, exposure compensation and sharpening. In short, they are as-shot, with no artificial lens corrections or saturation or etcetera. Adobe Camera RAW was used.
