The series available from this page can be a learning tool for understanding the vignetting, bokeh and blur characteristics across the aperture series from f/1.4 through f/16, not to mention how critical precise focus can be, even at f/8, as depth of field shows clearly.

M9 lenses have 1/2-stop settings, so the series uses 1/2 stops.

All exposures in this example were set for f/5.6, letting the wider (brighter) apertures show their relative darkness.
