Leica 50mm f/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH

Notes: 50/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH

The Leica 50mm f/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH offers outstanding image quality that based on own shooting appears to best its two siblings to at least f/2.8.

With very low distortion and brilliant image rendition, it is an ideal lens for the Leica M, with plenty of potential beyond the 18MP of the M9.

As I’ve used the Summilux, I have grown increasingly more pleased with it, and it also makes a very fine lens on the Sony NEX-7, as these Sony NEX-7 examples with the 50 Summilux show.

In short, the 50/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH is a must-have lens for every Leica shooter.
