Leica M240
Leica 75mm f/2.4 Summarit-M

Aperture Series: Mining Camp Church (M240)

This aperture series shows off the superb sharpness of the Leica 75mm f/2.4 Summarit-M. No filter was used, and the lens hood was attached and the lens was spotless (brand new).

This series omits all but one crop in favor of full resolution 24MP images (5976 wide), as well as smaller choices. Some web browsers may perform sluggishly with such large images—Apple Safari recommended (Mac or PC).

Mining Camp Church

Adobe Camera Raw 8.8.0 (397). ACR settings. Camera Profile = Embedded.

Diffraction-mitigating sharpening was used for the f/8, f/11 exposures as per Mitigating Micro Contrast Losses from Diffraction Blur in Making Sharp Images.
