Aperture Series: Maple Leaf Underwater, Floating Leaves (M240)

The sunlight filtering through leaves left only rushed setup time, and in my haste the tripod leg was included, rather frustrating. As can be seen, the light changed rapidly, and it was gone within 60 seconds, the scene going flat and dull. But the lighting is so interesting and the lens so sharp that I felt it worth showing this close range series.

The green leaves were slowly floating along, and “decomposed” my composition after f/1.4!. Fortunately, the large central leaf stays put. There is plenty to examine about the lens behavior in any case.
