The last sunlight of the day breaks through the clouds on the day after a June snowstorm.

Adobe Camera Raw 9.6.1 (631). ACR settings. Camera Profile = Embedded. Diffraction mitigation sharpening used for f/11.

The Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 Distagon can be used wide open with no fear of having an impaired image, setting aside depth of field of course: observe that wide open at f/1.4, the small bristlecone pine at far left shows very good definition—not yet as strong as at f/2.8 but entirely persuasive within the scene, and impressive for f/1.4.
