The factor influencing the amount of off-center vignetting and color shift if the ray angle, which follows from the exit pupil position and the frame size (36X24).

The ray angle, combined with the centering of sensor and lens with respect to each other, as well as the sensor design itself, all combine to produce more or less vignetting and off-center color shift, which might not be symmetric!
