The question I was trying to answer here as I explored the 135mm f/2 APO-Sonnar was whether it could function as an ideal lens for medium and long range work.
NOTE: San Francisco examples on this page were shot with the Nikon D800E body which has an apparently right-side forward focus skew (see the notes on the cause). This defocuses the right side at infinity focus noticeably, but does not necessarily affect other images “friendly” to the error.
