The about $2950 Zeiss 15mm f/2.8 Distagon is a lens with exceptional contrast and sharpness, world-class correction of color errors, exceptionally low distortion, and high resistance to both veiling and ghosting flare.
A hallmark of the 15/2.8 Distagon is its near absence of chromatic errors, which results in a color purity and color saturation seen only in the very best lenses. When combined with its exceptionally high lens contrast, the effect is stunning.
A 15mm is an extreme wide angle lens, but with its ultra low distortion, it becomes a very practical lens for tight spaces.
