The Planar Lens Design

The Planar design is in widespread use.

For Zeiss ZF.2 / ZE lenses it is used in the 50/1.4, 85/1.4 and the 50/2 and 100/2 Makro-Planars, the Makro-Planars featuring correction for close-range focusing and field flattening.
