Aperture Series: Atlas Permaguard (Nikon D810)

Shot on the Nikon D810 at ISO 64, original release firmware. This scene was also shot with the Pentax 645Z + 90/2.8 macro, at a very similar reproduction ratio / perspective.

This close range still life examines general imaging performance. The reproduction ratio is about 1:20, similar to a head and shoulders portrait distance.

'Atlas Permaguard'

Adobe Camera Raw 8.6 (254): ACR settings, Process 2012 Camera Profile = Adobe Standard. The RawDigger histogram shows exposure fell short of an optimal ETTR exposure by about one stop, though specular areas would allow only ~1/2 stop more.
