Panoramas are a form of computational photography.
As of early 2020, the easiest and best way to make fast panoramas is to use the Apple iPhone. While the iPhone panoramas have serious quality issues at times, they can also be stunningly good when executed well.
Requirements
- Sweep panoramas as with iPhone.
- Electronic shutter (no bang-bang-bang as with Sony)
- Multi-row panoramas via multiple sweeps.
- Deals with high dynamic range well, works with manual exposure.
