Processing RAW files on a MacBook Pro? There’s a lot to like about the new Core i7 MacBook Pro compared to my 2009 17" 2.93GHz Core 2 Duo. Wow!

Click the graph to read more. Not suprisingly, Nikon Capture NX2 trails the pack (if it’s not busy crashing, it’s busy running slowly).

This test is primarily CPU-bound, but there is an impact from using a fast drive, which is why this and other serious jobs are best done with an MPG Pro Laptop.
