Tomorrow, Zeiss will formally announce the 35mm f/1.4 Distagon for Canon and Nikon. I expect to have a sample as soon as Zeiss USA has them available. I’ll be posting technical data with commentary tomorrow.

My plan is to give the new 35mm f/1.4 in-depth coverage in my my Guide to Zeiss ZF / Zeiss ZE Lenses. I’ll be including comparisons with other lenses (e.g., Zeiss 35/2 and Canon and Nikon 35/1.4), as well as my usual eclectic mix of high-res sample images.
