Just published in DAP is the first installment of my Fujifilm Finepix X100 review.

I cover RAW vs JPEG sharpness and noise, RAW vs JPEG exposure and recovery, lens performance, some ad-hoc examples intended to explore performance, and a brief introduction.

In short, the X100 offfers outstanding performance in a compact package at a reasonable price. It’s a winner, and might have to become a permanent part of my camera collection.

Get the Fujifilm Finepix X100 at B&H Photo for about $1200. Don’t forget the lens hood and filter adapter, which are sold separately.
