Published in DAP in my Sony NEX-7 review is an f/1.8 - f/16 aperture series at close range with the Sony/Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 Sonnar.

Where the 24/1.8 excels is bokeh— background blur. Combined with outstanding central sharpness, this is a super lens for environmental portraiture and similar applications. This “blankie” example gives another sense of the image rendition— very nice, and from a child’s eye view.
