Zeiss 15mm f/2.8 Distagon — Interiors
I’ll be publishing some interior shots with the Zeiss 15mm f/2.8 Distagon soon in my Guide to Zeiss ZF / ZE Lenses.

The Zeiss 15/2.8 is a fabulous lens for interiors. Really makes me want to fly to France and Germany and shoot churches and similar!
The lens brilliance and contrast is incredible.
I confirmed the fact that Nikon’s “Virtual Horizon” feature is not accurate enough for getting precise leveling, and that the viewfinder is not perfectly centered. Makes it hard to get a perfectly level image, and disappointing on a pro camera (D3x), but it is not a new thing for Nikon bodies.
I processed these two frames at 5000° K, leaving the very warm tones intact.
I had to rest the camera on top of the tripod head for this shot, guessing at framing, so I shot 7 or 8 frames. It was wobbly, but this one came out sharp and was framed in an interesting way.
