My very own Nikon D800E has arrived, so I now have both the D800 and D800E. Please don’t write and ask about when I ordered, I cannot answer such questions.

Over the next few weeks, I will be doing more D800/D800E including some landscape work to determine if there are any real downsides to the D800E.

One really dumb Nikon bug is that saved settings from a D800 will not load to a D800E.

 

If you are interested in a private photo tour in Yosemite or the White Mountains, please contact me ASAP as I will be heading to the mountains at least once in June.
