MacBook Pro Retina — Growing Pains, but a Game-Changing Display for Photographers

The MacBook Pro with Retina Display has a gorgeous screen, whose scaling options are a bit hard to understand (a real head-scratcher even if you have the MBP Retina!), so please see Retina Display Scaling, part of my review of the Apple MacBook Pro Retina.

The Retina display is a boon for photographers (massive working space for images), at least once Photoshop/Lightroom and similar programs are updated (Aperture already supports native Retina resolution).

Although the MBP Retina lacks a few things I need for travel, those issues should resolve in a month or two with the arrival of some solutions (new products), and Photoshop/Lightroom support is coming.
