Really Right Stuff BX100 Base Plate for Fujifilm X100S / X100

Fujifilm X100S

The X100S still has an off-center tripod socket, so attaching a conventional camera plate blocks access to the battery and card, so in this case, carry an allen wrench to swap the battery or get the card out.

But that is not so great, so the must-have solution for tripod shooting is the elegant Really Right Stuff BX100 base plate, which sidesteps the issue completely and also protects the entire bottom of the camera.

The BX100 base plate can also take an optional BX100-G grip and BX100-L “L” attachment, both of which are useful and offer additional “knock and scrape” protection to the camera.

I tried to BX100 with grip on the Fujifilm X100s (swapping it off my X100), and it bolted on just fine as expected.
