See my review of the Leica M Typ 240.
While I have documented some disappointing design aspects of the Leica M Typ 240, one thing has emerged as pretty darn awesome: I can compose images perfectly, I can focus images perfectly (even the Noctilux), and it’s not restricted to Leica M-mount lenses any more. All because of the Live View feature (and EVF).
The Leica M Typ 240 has its flaws, but for me at least, the Live View with EVF make it a far more useful camera. It is more useful step forward over the M9 than the M9 was over the M8.
So I’m on a wait list: wait and bide my time, because over the summer and fall I do want to fully explore the performance bounds of all the M glass.
