Sony A7 vs A7R, Shooting Satisfaction Follows with A7

Order the Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens at B&H Photo.

Recently I’ve posted some tests with the Sony A7 and lenses (see preceeding blog entires and/or the review of the Sony A7/A7R).

My overall finding: the Sony A7 offers very fine image quality and has none of the shutter vibration issues of the A7R. In short, it’s a camera that one can rely on to not wreck image quality (turn off AF Pre-focus, make sure EFC shutter mode is enabled, use the wireless remote and even an 800mm lens will deliver sharp images).
