Sigma sd Quattro ISO Series from 100 to 6400, both X3F and Camera JPEG + Binned Images
See my Sigma mirrorless wish list at B&H Photo.
This in-depth evaluation shows image quality from ISO 100 to ISO 6400 with natural daylight using an optimal exposure with ideal lighting, so it represents best-case performance:
- From X3F raw files.
- From in-camera JPEGs.
- Includes a reference image from X3I SFD mode (7 frames, noiseless). X3I is always ISO 100 (ISO is not settable in X3I mode).
- Images with pixel binning enabled are also shown. Sigma Photo Pro enables Auto Binning by default (a good idea given the performance). Binning delivers reduced image sizes at ISO 800 on up in order to combat image noise.
Includes images up to full camera resolution.
Sigma sd Quattro ISO Series from ISO 100 to ISO 6400
This pages/series should be extremely useful as a reference for any Sigma sd Quattro user, because it includes the full ISO series from both X3F raw and in-camera JPEG and binned versions from the X3F raw.
Below, Sigma sd Quattro ISO 3200 quality is severely degraded.
