I”m a big fan of what the Sony 100mm f/2.8 STF did on portraits, but I am far less thrilled with the results shown here. In my review of the Sony 100mm f/2.8 STF GM:

Includes images up to full resolution from f/2.8 through f/11. Be sure to see the curious color shift which I am now certain is due to the apodization filter (STF feature), seen previously in the Dolls series.
