Fujifilm GF 23mm f/4 R WR Aperture Series: Lee Vining Canyon at Dusk

See my Fujifilm GFX wish list.

This aperture series look at image quality of the Fujifilm GFX sensor and the GF 23mm f/4.

This looks to be the finest performance in the 18/19mm (equiv) range that I can recall seeing, on any camera.

Fujifilm GF 23mm f/4 Aperture Series: Lee Vining Canyon at Dusk

Includes images up to full resolution from f/4 through f/8.

The Fujifilm GFX sensor is outstanding and the the GF 23mm f/4 is superb, as is the GF 110mm f/2. See my Fujifilm medium format wish list.

On my recent trip, I did not have the troubles I had with the GFX with other lenses back in the spring—I wonder if some silent fix went into this GFX, which I received in early July. Or maybe the 23mm f/4 and 110mm f/2 incorporate some fix. Or maybe something I just don’t understand. But at least with what I tested, it’s the system I would be shooting if I were just for myself, at least with those two lenses. A good symmetric copy of the 32-64mm f/4 would fill in the gap in the middle.
