I sent my Sony A7R II in for repair today via Sony Professional Services.
Within one hour, I had a shipping label (overnight) from Sony Professional Services, the the A7R II in the box and onto the FedEx van. Good work from Sony!
These issues have cropped up:
- Two stubborn specks on the sensor.
- The mode dial sticks; for about two weeks I could not get out of aperture priority. After that it started working again, but the feel is wrong, so it’s gummed up somehow.
- The camera keeps popping out of magnified Live View, sometimes 3 or 4 times minute, which makes it impossible to do precision manual focus.
