As of early November 2017, this is the most complex focus stack I’d ever done. It took about 3 hours of retouching.

Includes apertures from f/1.4 through f/13 plus a 7-frame focus stack at f/8 at up to full camera resolution.

The stacked image is presented in both color and black and white up to full camera resolution in Zeiss Milvus 25mm f/1.4 Examples: Dana Lakes.

If the wide-open contrast and detail with its rich blacks and brilliant whites does not make an immediate impression s something special, then I doubt that any wide angle lens will satisfy. The Milvus 25/1.4 is a gem of a lens.
